Default Need Help!!!!!

I went to the track last night and did horrible which is weird. I usually run 13.4 and 13.5 all night but last night I barely could get a 14.8 and I did the same things I always do when I drive. On one run when I launched I hit this flat spot that has never happened before from 3000-4500rpm before it picked up and started moving again. Do I have soe kind of timing isusses I should check or could I just have to much carb for the truck?

What CFM Carb are you running, and is it the same one you've always ran? And have you checked your plugs?

Its approx. a 750cfm. The same carb I have always run. The truck made 370rwhp and 385rwtq. I do have a replacement Barry Grant Filter. So change the filter huh? Could I possibly still have timing issues and what about too high of a fuel pressure setting?

Huh, that's weird. Check your fuel filter and plugs first, knock the easy stuff out of the way.

It really sounds like either a fuel issue or spark issue to me. I would *think* if it was a timing issue, you'd just run like **** all the time rather than just certain RPM's.
