Lightning HP/TQ

Newer harley trucks are'nt blown. Anything is possible with these trucks. I pretty much threw a 2.3 whipple on a stock truck. With 15psi im putting down 470/560 mustang dyno.

There's lightnings with roughly the same peak numbers barely running mid-high 13's. and some running low 12's knocking on 11's.
Lack of 60 etc is what kills a lot of guys. That stuff, bugs and a tune.
IMO the chevy trucks on this forum FAR exceed the knowledge/importance of a good VS the lightning forums guys.

the torque and wheel spin is what kills 90% of the lightnings out there that have mild bolt ons...
BUT the right combo will push a stock pullied / stock longblock lighting into the low 12's

That's not all of the puzzle. It's the complete set up. People need to understand that your average stock pulley lightning isnt going to break into the 12's.
That record was set with race fuel etc. I know for a fact, a lot drive their trucks from their house then go run them. Pump gas and race fuel times shouldnt be compared imo. However, still impressive.
