Default Just put on my Lakewoods

Haha, man the poor man's jackstand (pulling half the truck onto a curb) made this job a lot harder than it is. Anyone lookin for bars, I'd recommend these. Cheap, simple and effective. Firmed up the as end and no more fishtailing when I light em up. Pulls straight as an arrow.

i went with the jdm long bars. i wasent to impressed with the slapper type traction bar it really doesnt do much for protection for the truck. they will still allow the rear end to walk. but your right the lake woods are a good cheep mod for the price there not bad. if you start making over 500wtq i would switch.

About 45 mins. Would've been less if I'd taken the tire's off, but my jack just took a **** a couple weeks back, so I had it backed onto the curb, lol.

I replaced my Lakewoods about a month ago with LFP bars. The Lakewoods get the job done and I ran them for 2 years.

Aren't they to stop axle wrap not fishtailing? I am about to order some after I get my new rubber.

Yes, that's the main intent. But since it hooks better now, it's not as bad as it was. You also have to be sure to position and shim them correctly, otherwise you will get a pull to one side or the other.

When I put my Lakewood's on last year I took the advice of another L owner to put the truck on jack-stands and removed the rear wheels for the installation and it was a snap. I also have an air compressor and air wrenches so that made it even easier. I have noticed the axel wrap feeling is gone and it now comes out of the hole like a shot. Best $99 I have spent on my truck.
