Default xr275hr cam in a 4.8

I was on the comp cams website, and I ran across this cam. its a 222/224 with a 566/568 lift. it says that I would need tuning I am full bolt on already. would it work with a stock stall? thanks guys but if this cam dont work I am gonna do the xr265hr high lift cam

I think the durations on the 275 might be a tad big for the 4.8. Just as another consideration, I would suggest taking a look at the Scoggin Dickey HT-1: 214/218 .559/.564 111...I'm pretty happy with it.

In a 4.8, this cam would not be stock stall friendly.. Look for something likw that RSTinOKC posted, the comp 212/218, or the comp 216/220.

In a 4.8L, I would definitely recommend a larger converter with that camshaft. I would look to see what the manufacturer recommends for that camshaft, but I would say a 2800 rpm converter would probably work great!
