Default XER 222/224 114 plus a 100 shot....

How would this cam: 222/224 .581 .581 114+4 work for a RCSB 5.3 with a 100 shot? Truck has all the bolt-ons plus a built 4l65 w/ 3400 PI stall and TNT F1 wet kit.

Thanks.

Everything that I have seen on this board, it looks like it would be a good match with your mods.

wider lsa=mo powa on the gas

Should move well. My 222/224 112 worked damn good with a 150 shot the 114 should work even better.

Thanks for the reply guys ...One last question though....

What do you think about the lift.... Should I get an XE-High Lift grind or should I stick to the more aggressive XE-R lobes? Which do you guys recommend?

btw, the cam will go in with a set of Patriot Gold dual valve spring kit # 8401 rated at .650 lift.

LINK

Most affordable valve spring kit w/ titanium retainers I've found yet. ($240)

I'd stick with the XE-R, .581 is fine. The only thing I'd change is the LSA, go with a 112. If you need more power on the gas, up the jets!

Yuuppp. Everyone wants to give up streetability for a slight increase in power per size of the jet... Just up the jet or work on your nitrous setup if you want more power out of it (larger lines, solenoids, fueling, timing... exc.)
