Well I am not trying to pull anything in particular, but I want to maximize my chances of not having to struggle towing what a stock diesel can tow. I think I read a stock diesel can pull something around 23000lbs. My current gas truck I think can pull a little less than half that..

I would probably just get a Radix without too much thought. I tow with a 2500HD 6.0L very heavy and I usually have to pull in 3rd gear, but this is more weight than average im talking. (up to around 12000lbs. cargo on the trailer, not even counting truck and gooseneck trailer) With a heavy truck like yours I think the radix would be in boost at a much lower throttle position than others see. I'm curious how a turbo kit with a properly sized turbo and safe tune would perform. You could roll into boost gradually.

Leaning toward Radix and cam at this point. I wish I can find someone that has this very setup so I can take it for a ride..

Interesting dyno graphs for those that think a 408 makes more tourqe down low compared to a Radix 5.3:

I will take the 450 ft pounds at 2400 rpm

Now I need to get to the track and get some numbers. I think this should be good for a .1-.2 in good weather.

there is no need for a bypass valve switch. the system works as is and is completely transparent, like brian said before you reach 0 vacume the valve is closed. as the load comes on the boost goes up. more load = more boost even if the rpm doesn't change.

it really is a dream to tow with a radix(whipple in my case). i could hit 3 psi in the driveway just my punching the gas pedal quick.
