Hey guys, I was checking my parts pile before my dod delete and noticed my head gaskets are 12610046. Are these right? 2007 lmg 5.3. Seen many different opinions on yes and no etc. Some places say they will and others so no. The parts list sticky for dod delete doesn't have a part number for a 5.3. Confused

Look up the part number. They are for a larger bore engine. They will work but depending on how technical you want to get they are not correct. Plenty of guys are running ls9 gaskets on 5.3s without issues but there is mixed opinions on the practice.

 

Ok, i Guess I'll sell these and get correct ones. Can't afford an oops.
