Default why is my engine making this noise?

here's the story, i installed my cam about 2 weeks ago, the night i first started the truck it worked fine , but made this whinding, chirping sound for like 30 seconds then it stopped. i've been driving it fine since then with no problems other than it turning of occasionally because i need a tune. monday it started having a lot of trouble turning the truck on and when it would start it would smoke black smoke but today the same noise came back and the truck is surging a lot, it's not even drivable. so i checked the fluid and noticed it was really bad. so i changed the oil, i noticed a lot of metal shavings on the tip of the drain plug, so i put new fluid and a lucas oil stabilizer because i thought it was a lifter not charging up, the surging is gone with the oil change but the noise won't stop. what the f**K could it be, could it be caused by driving that long without a tune. i need help,

You might have nicked a bearing installing the cam, did you lube it up real good when you installed it? is the motor heating up or running hot?

when i'm at a light the oil pressure drops to 45, when the truck is moving it goes up to 65, the temp is at 200 degrees, and i used plenty of lube

I could be. The best thing to do it probably a tear down. I don't know of anyother way to help you. Anyone else have some ideas?

i went over to Charlie's today for a retune, and the truck wouldn't start once i got there. Charlie, one of his friends and me checked it and realized that i had a bad Fuel Pressure regulator that was flooding the intake, so after two hours of searching for it we went to the stelership to buy it. i got raped $100 for the regulator, so i installed it , Charlie got it to idle, and i drove back to the shop, we noticed the oil that i changed yesterday still smelled like raw gasoline so i changed the oil again put new spark plugs in it since the other onces were toast from the engine running so rich, and now the smoke and noise are gone, so i guess i'll keep driving it till it blows then swap in a 6.0
