just want to see your setups
what components for the buttom ( crank , pistons ,rosds and bearings) ?
what cams are you rnning ??
heads?
did you build it or was i built by sombody else?
any oil consumption problems ?
how many miles on with it?
what oil do you use for break in and after that ?
what break in method?
reason is I just built my friend a shortblock , and I need to know whats odd and whats normal , my 408 died after 530 miles
dont want to kill another one

2003 iron block LQ4
Callies Compstar 4" crank and rods
Wiseco -3cc forged pistons
clevite bearings
231/239 114 cam
LS3 heads
Built by me
I noticed a little oil consumption. Nothing that wasn't normal but I added a catch can to see how much is actually getting through the pcv system. I haven't emptied it.
I used 5w30 mobile 1 with comps break in additive the first two oil changes. I loaded the motor pretty good the first time I drove it. Then it went strait to the dyno for the tune.
