Default what springs?

hope this dont upset the mods but this is actually about my 416 build for my zo6, i posted on CF an have not got any response

416 with 823's sending out to get ported, question is what springs to run?

cam is 233 / 246 .630 / .630 116+3 from BTR, i called and got different answers was told pac .660's next call was told BTR .685

its full bolt'on car fast102 102TB heads and cam mentioned above will probably be rev'd to 6800 - 7000rpm and will see some nitrous 150 to 200 jetting max

so im going to be using BTR .650 or .660 springs was told the .650's might be a little better in the higher rpms since it will see some nitrous

what retainers steel or titanium? im reading steel will last longer and titanium wears but its lighter and more stable???

how long will titanium last on the street in a daily or is it not worth it?

I personally wouldn’t do titanium retainers. I don’t think the potential gains from them are worth the maintenance or risk of them failing. I’ve had ti retainers on different engines (imports) that showed quite a bit of wear after a few thousand miles. Since then I’ve always used steel and they work just fine.
