Default What to build? cammed 5.3 vs LQ4

Should i put a 5.3 with a TR220 or TR224 cam or put a stock LQ4 in it for now?
This truck is my DD and it curently has a 4.8 and a 5spd with pacesatter headers

Well if your plan is to do an LQ4, then might as well just put that in. Instead of cammin the 5.3, more than likely you would use a diff cam once the 6.0 was in anyways.. But if you can wait and plan on keepin the 5.3 for a couple years then mod the **** out of it

I see you edited, and its a 4.8.Go ahead and swap the 6.0 in. dont worry about a 5.3

You should do a T56 as well..

ive learned that there is not a replacement for more cubic inches. imo the more reliable setup as most of us have a iron foot.
