An Hyd Isky 226/232, .520"/.517", 110* would work well in a 350ci. Did I read somewhere that this was a eairly modle block? If not why not run a hyd rr? Also be sure to elongate, or bore out the pushrod holes for those 1.6 rockers.

Its a numbers matching block for a 73 camaro, 014 casting so yeah, it's and early model block but i got a hell of a deal on it. The fact that retro-fit lifters cost more than i paid for the engine is a big factor.. i think i am going with 1.5 rockers because otherwise, my max lift is around 540 or so, which might be too much for my heads.

Would you go HYD RR if you got a good deal on a set of retro lifters?
