Default valve spring question

are the PRC dual springs overkill for a TSP220 cam? Will anything negative occur running them?

Thanks

im running them for about 20k on my 224 so far without any issues. i plan on swapping heads soon and am going to run another set of them. lifters are a good idea if you have high mileage and if you plan on pulling heads, otherwise its not necessary

i did not change lifters when i did my cam swap .529 lift (123k miles) yours is at .581? its really up to you.. if the heads are stock i would wait on the lifters until you upgrade the heads.

-how hard are you going to run the engine?

not too hard on a day to day basis. It will get beat on from time to time though I'm just wondering if the extra spring pressure is going to hurt the old lifters.
