Default Valve spring question

Would it be okay to run my 918's with this cam- 224/230 581/588 114lsa on XER lobes or should I step up to a dual spring?

The 918 will be a great spring for that cam. 921's are a better spring but not necessary in your case. That is a real nice street cam by the way...

the 918's are fine, but if you do decide to change to a dual spring, get the patriot golds, that way you don't have to have your heads worked on to get the springs to work.

Thanks for the quick replys, the lift of the cam wasn't a real big concern for me but I know that the XER lobes are pretty aggresive so I just wanted to be sure.

well you got that big ole 6.0 in there so you should be fine lol, its still going to hurt your lowend, but should gain alot up top to about 6800 rpms.

Yeah that it is the big thing that I am worried about with that 224/230 is how much lowend am I going to lose. Right now I am running a 216/224 Vinci cam and my truck has good lowend power but I would like more power up in the rpm range.
