Default tsp 228 in a 5.3

Guys I'm about to get a tsp 228 at an awsome price from a buddy of mine and I know its a big cam for a 5.3 but I'm gonna do it anyway but I would like to see yalls opinion on how well the 228 will work in a 5.3.

Whats the rest of your setup?

I'd suggest 4.10s and a 3600 converter at the very least.

4.56s, stock converter at the moment but was planning on maybe a vig3600 or bigger.

Currently its a 5.3 with a tr220.551.114 stock converter with 4.56s. Will their be a significant gain by goin from the 220 to the 228?

i was running the 228/228 on a 3500 yank and 4.10s...worked like a beauty.

With a good tune, it can idle smoothe and its guna rip when you stomp the skinny peddle

It should talk some trash on a 111lsa lol. I think it should work decent with the 4.56s. So this would be a good idea to put this in my truck? What kinda HP would I looking at with a good tune?
