i believe they are both equally the same.... im pretty sure if TR would post up their comparison it will the the opposite of TSP's..... BOTH are proven cams no doubt.... I know bluecajun has been running the TR220 for a long time and he is one of the best running 5.3's here...
and you know what... it's old technology that's been in there since 05. still ticking and tocking like a bat out of hell. heck newer and bigger cams haven't even come close to my times. maybe they grounded this one on hump day

There's a package with cam, springs, and pushrods! The PAC springs are listed alone on our site under Engine and Valvtetrain -> Camshafts and Valvetrain -> Valve Springs

Going turbulent
WHEN U SAY TURBULENT DO U MEAN FLATLINE ? IF SO THAT TELLS ME THAT THE ARE UNDER THE SEAT OF THE VALVE POSSIBLY NEEDS TO BE OPENED UP ANS SINCE UR THERE DOIN THAT WORK YOU MITE AS WELL WORK THE SHORT TURN AND THE REST OF THE FLOOR AND AROUND THE VALVE GUIDE TO SMOOTH OUT THE FLOW ALITTLE. AND THAT BRINGS UP MY QUESTION. IS DOIN THAT MUCH WORK TO A STOCK SET OF HEADS WORTH IT DO TO COST COMPARED TO AN AFTERMARKET SET. OF COOURSE DONT FORGET TO INSTALL 2.02 VALVES IF THERES ROOM FOR THEM.

I have never heard it referred to as flat-line, but I suppose it could be. You always see a head start to back-up or not gain any more flow with the extra lift, it happens to all heads at one lift or another! And yes, the stock heads do leave alot to be desired in that regard!

Yes matt we are talkin about the samething. I recently opened up a set of sportman 2 heads that had 2.0./1.60 valves. Didnt plan on putting bigger valves in them.but do to the pocket work that was done,i had to go with a 2.05 valve.unfortunatelt the machine shop that assembled them for me put 2.08 intakes in them by accident.when i took them to tim zepp racing engines to get them flowed he called and told me what the issue was. The pocket in the head was to small for the 2.08 size valve and the short turn needed more work.when the head got to .500 lift it stop flowing. Didnt increase at .600 and .700 lift.we call it flatline. So yup its the same thing just different terms.

try patriot gold springs, hardened 7.4 pushrods they are proven up to 7500 rpms
You reuse your stock retainers etc just get some pac 1218 springs. The comp 918 works too the same way stock replacements but the comp 918 in the past had a bad habit of breaking. Since then they have been revised and should be okay but I didn't wanna take any chances so I used Pac 1218's. Pac makes great springs and were the original makers of the OLD Comp 918's when they first came out when they were good.
Also get some hardened pushrods or just get the cam package from TSP which has everything.
