Truck won't spin a tire ?!?
#1
Didn't really know where to put this so mods move if necessary. I recently picked up a 2000 RCSB. The truck has small cam, ported tb, ported heads, 3200 stall, and 4:10 gears with a posi. The truck runs real strong but won't do anything from a standstill. I had a buddy look at the tune and said the torque management was zeroed out. Any clue what else it could be ?

Idk I wouldn't think the trans or converter would be bad because other than not spinning it's runs hard as hell and will chirp the tires and get squirrely on the 1-2 shift. Just feels like it's being held back some from a dig. And my buddy who looked at my tune today said that there wasn't any torque management in the tune. I'm stumped lol

How is the idle on the truck? It could be the TB that is ported giving you the trouble.. Other than that its hard to tell without seeing it first hand or a lil bit more of a description as to it falling on its face from a dig...

It idles just fine to me, I guess I'll have to make a vid or something to show the delay from a dig. From other vids that I've seen of other trucks with similar mods it will blow the tires off from the start, but mines just leaves then it'll pickup pretty nicely but won't even attempt to spin.

You mentioned a small cam but didn't list the specs.
The cam could be your problem, but without knowing the specs or how it was installed it would be impossible to say for sure.
Also the stall converter is going to make it feel lazy until you get it up to the stall speed and in the cams power range.
