Default Trick flow cams

I have done research on these cams from trick flow.
I have been looking all over the damn internet to find videos or even reviews

Anybody running one of these?
I am looking to install the trickflow 216/220 in a lq9
then having my 706 heads worked by AI for next winter
cam specs:216/220@.050 .560/.560 114

Im hoping that the 6.0 will have midrange power but still some low end torque

Its not the compcam 216/220

Anybody?

If u want to take the geuss work out of picking a cam contact Pat G from guerra motorsports and for $25 he will spec u a cam tailored to exactly what ur looking for he will even point u in the right direction for the springs to match the cam. He really really knows cams so much so that he can have a successful business by doing it. I too have a lq9 and he speced a cam for me and I was very happy with the info I learned from him and the specs he gave

The trickflow 216/220 should be similar to the comp 216/220 I am assuming, but the trickflow one has more lift. IDK what kind of lobes trickflow uses.

You are correct that cam will be more of a torque cam since you are putting it in a 6.0.

im pretty sure comp produces the cams for trickflow, they just reserve the right to put the brand name on it when they spec it...

i appreciate the feedback guys

i too think i heard its a comp grind
i cant find anywhere what lobes trick flow uses
i wanted a cam with not too much lift (spring life)

this truck sees alot of the 2-5k rpm being on the highway
and the steep inclines

what tranny cooler are you guys running?
i know that my 4l60e wont last long
especially when i get that 278mm stall from chris at circle d

Most people get the tru cool 40K cooler. The 278mm is a pretty tame converter vs the smaller diameter converters.

im sure that chris will recomend somewhere around a 3k stall
so i am just trying to save every bit of the 4l60e i can
the trucool sounds pretty good but its a little more expensive
than what summit offers?

Anything bad with the summit coolers?
I figured i would give the transmission a fighting chance- lol
I do sometimes stay in the 3500-4000 rpm range for awhile

thanks for you guys input
