I have the 215 / 114lsa isky in my truck and it sounds stock
You also have a turbo and manifolds covering up the sound, even a 215 114lsa would have a slight sound difference compared to stock, longtubes and exhaust choice can also aid in final sound..

That is not true. I'm not building a power house of an engine right now or a boosted/bottle fed engine.

I'm just looking for the sound without the performance loss on this build.

I have some supporting mods for the 4.8, and I don't mind purchasing whatever I need for the cam.

I'm just building a fun cruiser/show truck. When it goes into the final stage of the visual dept is when it will get either a TSP 408 or a GMPP LSX454

I ran it N/A for 3 years.. it sounds stock
Stock airbox and exhaust. With a magnaflow exhaust setup and the AC on you can hear it has something but it doesnt catch anybodys ear.
