I may get a 230/234 114+2 cam and wondering if that is too big for the 5.3. What size stall to get the most of the cam?
I'm asking because I can get a decent deal on it and have a yank 3000tt just laying here.
Also have 4.10 gears.

uh yea unless you run a 4000 converter. That cam would be about right in a full bolt on 6.0 Silverado with aftermarket heads.
Others may say otherwise, but that tt3000 will DEFINANTLY be too small for it.

Anyone think that 3k will be too small behind that cammed 6L? Should stall it up a little higher compared to a 5.3.
