Spark Plugs

NGK makes a good deal of AC's plugs. Typically AC Iridiums = NGK TR55ix.
I run NGK Copper TR55's and i think they work great, defiently better than those bosch platnums (yea i know i got suckered...)

Whats even better is those Bosch +4's they got now. 4 (FOUR) electrides on a single plug. I don't get it. If you read the fine print, they never say you get a better spark because of the 4 electrodes.

Yep, exactly electricity will only follow the path (single) of least resistance. So those extra 3 electrodes = gimmick...
Besides, for a wedge style head design, the traditional electrode plug seems to work best when viewed from the perspective of keeping the flame from being quelched.

Those are single electrode plugs and actually work well. They are a heat range cooler than stock though, so if you have a reason for using them, great, if not, stick with teh TR55's.

for god sakes replace your plugs and wires if they have 75,000 miles or look deteriorated. I had 75,000 miles on my 5.3 with original plugs and wires. After just changing the wires to MSD (old wires were badly worn) I gained 3 mpg after driving it about 600 miles with the new wires.
