ive been reading and reading and reading on cams people have put in their lq9's, and well quite frankly i havve no f*#@in clue what would work best for me. my buddy who built my truck suggested the TSP 228r cam with a 3200 stall and a tbss intake and 90mm tb. but i cant find an intake and idk with the 228r cam would be good for regular street driving and some highway cause its my DD in the summer. ANY thoughts? would i need injectors? or what.. LMK!!!! springs coming!!
oh and i already have 243's on the engine

You can actually go alot bigger than a TSP 228r with your LQ9 and still be street friendly. Also, depending on if you pull a boat or haul anything??????????? but I would go with at least a 3600 Torque Converter. The stock injectors should be fine with a cam and basic bolt ons. Next you can beef up the rear end by changing out the stock g80 and then regear to help you out because the 4l80 first gear is very long coming out of the hole with stock gearing. Oh and keep reading and asking questions...... it a good way to learn

I was spec'd the 222/226 eps cam for my lq9 that i tow with, havnt got it assembled yet but you might want to look into something similar, 115 LSA for stealth idle and a smaller converter and have at it.
YMMV
