Default Slow throttlebody

My throttlebody opens slow. It does not move at the same rate as the gas peddle. It is that lame "fly by wire" type. How can I fix it or am I just SOL?

Yeah I love my DBW now that I've got a tune...even though it's the hypertech it still helped out big time.... the throttle is 100 times more sensitive.

Whats a DBW tune? I have the Hypertech PP3 and the throttlebody is still just as slow as it was from the factory.

There is a throttle pedal postition vs. actual throttle opening table in EFI live. There is a warning about changing the table too far from stock settings can cause the PCM to become unresponsive. Make small changes.

depending on the year of the truck there are ramp rates hard coded in the tac module.

05 and 06 trucks suffer from this. you have to get an 03 TAC and flash an 03 tune and then you will have instant Throttle response

04 works as well, it also allows for RTT if you use HPTuners. I'm piecing together the parts for mine right now.
