They would make the swap easier and flow better. If a typical gain N/A from the heads is 20-30rwhp then under boost they have to add at least 40-50rwhp compared to stock flow heads.

I got pro comp head studs for $69 on ebay. the were a bitch to install with the short block still in the truck. Had to lift the transmission up about 2-3" and beat the fire wall in about 1/2" to get the 2 L R rear studs in

I assume Static Compression Ratio?

I would pickup the heads for $700 for sure and put them in when doing the cam swap since you'll have them off anyways.

what size combustion chamber? with a better head ect you will have more power out of boost as well...I would do it as long as they don't jack your compression up too much

If you keep compression the same it will make the same power at lower boost. Lower boost means less chance of detonation on pump gas.

I will have to research what it does to compression. Thanks guys. The logical part of me says w a cam and drivetrain parts I should break 500 W maybe another lb or two. Those mods will also hold the power better too. This sucks wanting to spend money but my cheap side is holding me back.

Yeah.

I didn't see you posted they were 5.3 heads. Run what you have.

Texas speed said they can keep ur cr same as stock if u want. I am unsure what these heads were milled too.

I will keep my stockers and do other supporting drivetrain mods before investing into heads. Thanks guys
