Well i got a stock 6`0 lq9 with stock 243 heads and a 236/242 580/590 112lsa cam and circle d 3800 stall with a 4l80e trans.A friend of mine said that the cam is to bigg for my motor shoud i swap to a smaller one or shoud i leave it on .I ran the truck at the rgv vs htp shoot out and ran a 13.8 on street tire and i fully flored it at 40 or 45 cause of traction what do u guys think i shoud do.I want the truck to hit at least 12s all motor the truck is a 2001 ex cab stepside what yall think.

 

What rear gears? 2wd or 4wd?

IT HAS 373s and posi but i still need d lt headers pullry and the wideband tune.I been wanting to buy some slicks but dont have enough cash right now il probably put some 15inch slicks i can get the pair for 80 bucks used but more than 50% of thread on them.

With those mods you're still running the stock exhaust??? That's probably costing you 50 rwhp just due to that. Also, how are you fitting 15" wheels on the rear?

The exhaust is dual 2.5 all the way to the back with 18 in case magnaflow i have the lt ceramic headers pc thanks to tootall but i need to get them installed.no cats.
