Default quick ?

im going to pick up my truck tomorrow from the trany shop. my ? is will i need my truck retuned for the stall? its a 3000 stall.. the guy installed one after rebuilding my trans.

Is it a stock sized converter or a 9.5"?

dang not a clue.... the converter is a yank.. he told me that.. but im not sure on the size..

most likely either a 9.5 or 10.5", either way, you will be fine without a retune.

you will benefit from a re-tune being able to control when your converter locks/unlocks, and setting new shift points since your truck will most likely drop less RPM between shifts now... but not absolutely needed to drive it.
