Default Pushrod Brand

Interested to hear opinions on Pushrod brands. There are several top brands selling products but I wonder if they are all selling the same item. Looking for LS 5/16 length is TBD.

Considered brands in no order:

Scorpion
Manley
Comp
Texas Speed
Speed Engineering

I have the comp hi-tech pushrods and dont have any complaints....although its hard to complain about pushrods unless you bought the wrong size or they came defective. They either work, or they dont.

not positive, but they all seem to be about the same. i personally cant stand anything form comp...but more of a grudge. just stick with 080 wall and find a good price from one of our sponsors. TSP and SpeedEngineering are both awesome shops to deal with.

I might be wrong, but I think the pushrods that shops like Thunder Racing, Texas Speed, and Speed Inc sell are just Comp pushrods with their logos on them. Anyone know?

Trickflow also makes some nice affordable pushrods. I prefer Comp myself. But unless you have one hell of a build going on, the brand of pushrods is up to user preference.

I run Smith-Brothers. Have run them for years. That is pretty much all they do. Have run them in all my drag race engines, late model engines, etc... Their website is http://www.pushrods.net/

what about manton pushrods, they have 5/16" rods in .083, .095, and .118 wall thickness and custom lengths.
