Default Please help with Horsepower

I just bought a 2003 6.0 lq9. It's all stock. It's going to be put into my 2800 lb 1998 S-10 with a 400 transmission and a 4000 stall and 3.73 gears. What's the best way to get this motor to put this truck into the 10's in the 1/4? I have a T 5/6 turbo and a older Paxton blower. Will i need a power adder or can i do it with just motor? I don't really want to totally rebuild the motor. Maybe just a cam and intake? What's the best and cheapest way to proceed with this motor build? Thanks for any help. Tim

I think its very doable with just a cam/exhaust/intake since your S10 is so light. A small shot of nitrous would put you well into the 10s.

102 fast truck intake. Id look into custom grind. Thinking an upper 230s/240s cam. Maybe 240s/.600s. A set of trickflow heads would help a lot. Then 2" kooks for LTs. Esp a with a shot, IMO, you'll have the power at the wheels.
