PCV issues?
#1
So i was told today by a reputable person that I trust that what I have going on right now is incorrect.
I was told that the filter that I'm running on the tube that used to have the rubber hose going to my intake tube is incorrect and I need to cap that and put the filter on the backside on the pcv valve itself.
I don't want to run a catch can(no need for a stock engine)

What you have is fine if you cant find a place to run a line somewhere pre throttle body like stock. If you capped the pass side and put a filter on the pcv/drivers side, you wouldnt have any pcv, it would just be vented..
If what i rem is correct, the pass side is the fresh air side, and pcv the dirty side, fresh air is sucked thru the fresh air side thru the engine to pcv valve and into the manifold via vacuum.. You take the vaccuum source away your just putting a filter on it to vent..

Yes as long as you still have the stock line that runs from the pcv valve to the top of the intake your fine.
Does that person deal with LS stuff much, or mostly older small block stuff?
