iron ls1 would be my direction. but the 5.3 has proven it self before.

Don't waste your time on the 5.3, they never make power, and are always slowwwww..... You need a 6.OHHHH to go fast don'tcha know?

LOL at Roger, I have proven myself with a 5.3 before, I just had one crack a block on me and I went with a 6.0, now goin back till i can go with a 402+ci motor!

c jb i been tellin you to go with a 5.3 and costal sells them for 500 all day blow it up go buy another

As many of tham i have laying around i wont need to buy any for a while, just put one togother if needed, I'm lookin forward to setting a high bar with this little engine that will lol

Short block is built, been powder-coating stuff this weekend, gotta get one intake valve head gaskets and studs and put it together and the Dr. should be done witht the trans this week, just broke as hell right now
