Default oil pump

hey guys,

I just wanted to know what oil pump most of you guys are running? Im looking to replace mine along with some other things but don't know which one to get. I've heard that the pumps of the new 07-up trucks seem to be the best? opinions are welcome.

Thanks

Melling 10295 here, because I got it for dirt cheap off ebay. Working great on my 100k+ mile LQ4.

Pretty sure that an "LS6" and stock 4.8, 5.3, and 6.0 pump are all exactly the same thing...at least they were last I checked.

I see a lot of guys using Melling pumps, are they supposed to be better than the stocker, or just cheaper? Seems like oil pressure has never been a problem for me with the stock pump, not sure why I'd want to bump it up more. Maybe more volume would be beneficial though...
