Default no oil pressure at idle?????

so i put my new engine in last night and everything went good. got back from a road test and it was just idling on my driveway and i noticed the low oil pressure warning. it goes away when driving but still seems a little low. haven't put a manual gauge on yet but i did put a known good sender in and same thing. this engine has been completely overhauled and the only thing i can think of is the pump is below spec at an idle. anyone run into this before?

I'm guessing that the oil pump o-ring is pinched or incorrect, there are two oil pump o-rings available, and it seems that the blue/green one doesn't seal properly, but the red one does. If you search for oil pump o-ring, you should find part numbers. This would be my first guess...
