3.622 stroke you should bore it to 3.905 which is the standard aftermarket piston bore for the LS1s. You can throw up to a 4" stroke, I think the 4.100 like what Im running you would have to clearance the bottoms of the cylinders for the rod bolts.

OK so the 4" stroke with the 3.905 bore will give me 393ci.

What is the stock cr and should I change it? I plan on only going about 15 lbs of boost with the STS kit. I have read that the stock block can easily handle 10 psi and with proper tune 15-20 is possible.

Can I keep the stock cr and still do 10-15 psi safely? I would prefer this because I would have more pep off boost. If I have to lower cr to be safe though I will do it.

If you were forged @ 9:1 you could do 15psi. That would be a killer set-up.

SRT10 - what's the stock compression? I ran 10psi on 10.1:1 all day and all night. No intercooler then either I had meth and tuned myself, though.

I wouldn't go 15psi on a stock low end.

The 5.3 has a 10:1 cr then? Is 15 psi ok with a 9.5:1 cr and an intercooler? I might add a meth kit also.

If I add a meth kit would it damage any sensors(MAP, MAF, AIT etc.) that come after it?

Not sure what the 5.3 has. The LQ9 (HO 6.0) is 10.1:1.

Nope meth won't damage a thing. Run 100% imo.

How is your FLT Level 5 holding up. Everyone says go with the 80 conversion but I was hoping to not go through the expense or hastle.

I came accross a LQ4(iron 6.0) for $600 plus $200 for the heads if I want them. Is that a good deal? Should I use the heads as is or have them p&P? Would there be any benefit since I will be runing 15 psi?

What intake would you guys recommend?
