Those input/output shafts are really nice. They'll save you a few tow bills in the future.........

Yes, otherwise you would have had to pay return shipping on the crate. Not sure why they didn't paint it. Maybe since it was your core they didn't know if you wanted them to. Who gives a anyway, it's all about the inside.

It is like a late Christmas!
I am pretty excited about those shafts myself. It was worth the wait to get them. Now I just hope it holds up fine and I don't have to go to a 4L80E. If I do I'll be right back on the phone with Chuck for one. Chuck (FLT) was also extremly great to deal with. We have really got some great sponsers here on the site! Thanks Rex, Richard and Chuck for all your help and outstanding customer service!

The engine came in today! Here are a few pics, I'll post up more as progress takes place.


Here's a pic of my truck awaiting the new engine/tranny.
