I have an ARP valley plate bolt kit in stock. I think they're only 180,000psi bolts though........

Go Brian go!

Now..........back to our regularly scheduled thread.

Some of us want our engines to last!!
Actually I first showed up at WCCH requesting a stroked 408 but after the advice of some members on here and Richards valuable input I decided I didn't want to risk rebuilding it at 50,000 miles.

They dont seem to think I will have any problems getting more then 50K out of my 420, if I get 100K out of it before I have to rebuild it Ill be happy. With my heavy foot, boost+nitrous, towing and offroading I dont know if it'll make it though.

Actually I think you were one of the ones that advised me on the pro's and cons of going stroked or not. I was hell bent on stroked until the last minute. My truck will more than likely be my daily driver and I put about 40,000 miles a year on it so I opted for stock stroke. No guarantee's on my next engine though...what do you have 420?? maybe rex can make me a 421!!

Pistons were ordered today so its set in stone as a 420(4.04 bore and 4.1 stroke). Im just ready to drive my truck again with NO problems for the first time in 2 years
