great post Rick, I know you mentioned the carb style intakes and such, but what about fast and the car ones? For a turbo setup that is, I love the clean look of those compared to the ugly truck one. What are your thoughts on those.

Keep it simple, LS6, LS2, L76, or fast.

Richard, how much extra to mill the Edelbrock logo off the top and Engrave Your logo along the sides??? Is this Intake only available for the Cathedral ports or will there also be an option for the ports on the L92 Heads??? Any chance it will get C.A.R.B Approval???

a few of us have swapped from the factory truck intake to the LS6 intake manifold and gained nothing, or lost at the track. i hear the ls6 is better than the LS2 and the fast is priced to the moon.

Update:
Jobber pricing on the new intake #7139 is $447.80. Retail pricing is $551.95. They'll probably go for around $400.00 from the big online stores. The black finished intake has part number #71393 and won't be available till sometime after the 7139 is released. The fuel rail kits are not included with the intake. My guess is that they'll run about $90-$100 for the kits. There is still some work left to do before they're ready for sale to the public. I'd look for them to become readily available in December. I'll know a bit more sometime next week.

Once we get one to play with I'll look into modification and personalizing options. There is some talk about making a version of this intake to fit the L92 heads. I imagine that would come out sometime next year.
