go all the way back to original post, he is talking bout hayhauler. surprised the rods went first. lookin at that crank, i woulda figured the first thing to go at 9000 rpms would be all that heavy mallory metal. seen it before when they put em in like that. they break out of the crank cause its cut so thin to fit em. but a broke motor just sucks no matter what, especially when its a $20,000 part

guys this was on hayhauler, i have been battleling this issues all this year, hence why i dont post about it anymore like i used to...just been having so many problems with motors on it blowing the dammm rods off...

the crank, heads, valvetrain, cam is all good, but the rest is history...there are 2 holes as big as a football on each side...lol

lil sis is still running though...knock on wood

HKE has built a lot of high hp motors before, seems wierd youre having problems with them. LME has a few high hp motors running around may be time to move on...

yes they do but not nowhere near what i want to push...i still have them as my engine builders but just not on this particular engine ..dont get me wrong they do great work, but i am moving on to an all out high hp race engine builder this time..

You seen RCC's vette? It was pushin 1500+ to the ground and with his new setup theyre looking for the 2K rwhp mark. 427 warhawk setup.

Good luck in whatever you end up doing, I know its got to be annoying as hell.

VA Speed may be worth checking out too.

sorry to hear about your engine, hope you can find an engine builder that can build the motor you want to hit the HP mark that your looking for.
