Default need some help on piston clearance

will a cam thats 228/230 588 lift clear valves to pistons? on a LQ9 6.0 thanks for any help

Should, but just like push rod length question. YOU need to measure it to make SURE!

Should be no problem with the LQ9 flat top pistons. Its duration not lift that creates ptv issues and I know a lot of folks running a lot more duration on LQ9s. As always, have to measure/clay it to be 100% sure.

I've got an LQ9 and plan on milling my heads .040 with a 224/230 .609/.604 110+1. The duration being so short, I don't think I'll have any PTV clearance
