Default Need opinions on a wild 4.8L

Ok guys I know many will bash on me for trying to build on a 4.8L but it is one nice lil engine that has surprised me in many ways. Ok its an 09 LY2 4.8L so far its got a really nice cam and all you FBOs you can think. So now I have been thinking about getting a vic jr intake setup on it with ported&polished 243/799 heads and planning on hitting it with a 150shot. Many say no keep away and others says yes the truck spins up to 7000rpms runs strong for what it is I also spoke to a few gurus on here and say go for it that it will help out so I'd like some more opinions and a engine swap is out the question lol thanks

Does the current cam even make power that high? Yeah it may spin to 7k but the HP and TQ curve may have fallen off already way before that.

Turbo might go in down the road, the owner is starting school so he might just do a 150shot and that Victor Jr and gear it up
