Turbo or SC?

How much boost depends on a lot of factors: static CR, dynamic CR, fuel, tune, ambient air, etc.

Turbo 76mm Borg what should I do for heads get the stock 6.0 heads p&p or buy a set of 6.2 heads what kinda heads are people running for the 408s

You are going to want a bigger turbo on a 402 then a 76mm if you are shooting for 15-20lb.

You really need to figure out your horse power goal rather than just throwing things together. A good basic 370 set up will do 700-800 rwhp easily. With the set up you are talking about, you could do a 1000rwhp if tuned properly. Either way you will need to address the drive train as well.

My main goal is 10s in a quarter and i know thats a stretch but its Gunn happen someday so how ever much hp thats gunna take and i all ready have an 80e and a 14 bolt i just want to put together a good forged motor thats gunna last I had a 5.3 turbod that lasted a week

You need to find a good tuner. If the 5.3 only lasted a week, a forged engine would not do much better if not tuned properly.

Spun a rod it was 8lbs and 6500 rpms tuned by baker

TJ did the tune?


For a 402 front mount, a 76 is too small (unless you are doing twins). To go 10s, you will need something very large and probably some juice to spin it up.
