what are the limits of a streetable 5.3 ? what is max stroke/bore/cubic inch ? what are the max limits of a 5.3L alum head cylinder bore/valve dia,/spring dia./gross lift?

 

just do some searches. you will find everything you want to know. the 5.3 can be safely bored to a 5.7 using stock size ls1 pistons. there are several people on here pushing 600hp on a mostly stock internal motor with boost. as for the heads, i have no idea. lol

 

Testing to see if it works.
Searched for Max Bore and Immediately found "Max bore on 5.3 is about 3.905"
Stroke I can't find a Max for.
And I think heads will depend on the casting but I don't know anything about head work.

 

It's cheaper and easier to swap in a 6.0 unless you just want to prove something
