Ok, there seems to be a lot of conflicting info about the thickness. Depending on where you look it seems some say they are .051 and others say .055
Does anyone have a compressed used set laying around they can measure?
Ive been factoring everything based on .051 but just trying to figure exact CR numbers, its small but still wanna know.

No Mic's... just calipers. I hate micrometers lol..... but I do a set and stop borrowing them.
But...... I lied. I sent the previously torqued set in a 6 liter I just finished for a guy and have a new set only sitting here. So I am no help haha.

You actually measured them? I just don't get how something made by GM has such conflicting info from various vendors. I've seen .051,.053 and .055
If .051 then I am 9.89
If .055 then I am 9.8

Yes I measured again this morning on a used gasket. It takes quite a bit of force to squeeze it enough to measure 0.051 but thats what it would be when installed. Lightly measuring I got like 0.060 or so.
