Default Ls9 cam in a 5.3 with tvs1900?

Hey guys, I've seen where the ls9 cam can offer decent gains on the 6.2 trucks. That got me thinking, surely this cam would help out my lil 5.3 quite a bit. Im running a tvs1900 at 9psi with headers, 3.5" catback and a tune. What all would be needed to swap an ls9 cam into a LC9 5.3 vvt/afm motor? Would it even be feasible with the afm? How hard would it be to tune it in a boosted 5.3? Ive tuned cammed n/a motors and stock boosted motors, but never a cammed fi motor.

wouldnt be my first choice... WAY too much high RPM power and not nearly enough mid range punch on a 5.3. Especially with the heads you have on your truck. They were designed for square ports, which have a larger intake bias than the 243's, which have an intake bias over your heads as well.

There are MUCH better options out there for you. One of them being the 2002-2004 LS6 cam if you are dead set on a factory cam.
