Default LS7 lifters - 7.35 pushrods? I searched - need more input

So I'm in Alberta, ordering springs/lifters/pushrods for my head swap likely from SDPC. Swapping iron 6.0 heads for 706 heads. I don't have a large window of time to do the swap, and don't have time to take it apart, measure pushrods, order correct pushrods etc. It looks like the 7.35's will work with the LS7 lifters more likely than not correct? And likely my stock ones will be a bit long? Would it be a safe bet to just go ahead and order the 7.35's?

Not looking for a guarantee, just a best guess from some of you experienced guys.

I used 7.35's in my swap. The Ls7 lifters are slightly taller than the stock GMT800 lifters.

I still say you should measure, although I have thrown in 7.400" pushrods in a lot of dyno engines without measuring and never had a problem.

I have a 2007 LQ4 in my truck and I just put a 212 212 lunati cam in there with 7.4 pushrods. I guess I nned to check the push rod length then...

Bingo...the stock LS7 lifter is .050 taller than the LS truck series engines. 7.400-.050= 7.350

I have used the 7.400 stock pusrods with the LS7 lifters and didnt have any noise with a tiny 550 lift cam....at least not that I could hear.

The stock length of the LS7 pushrod is 7.750 (part# 12593344)

No issues, just more noise than I would like. I have heard worse, but my tr230 and 918's were way quieter...

I dont like much valvetrain noise so i run a slightly longer pushrod. I've done back to back dyno runs with a few different lengths. The power difference was very slight and wasn't nessicarily a gain or loss. But it did shift the power up or down in the rpms a little. We ran a 7.35, 7.40, 7.45 and 7.50 in a forged 370 LQ9 with stock deck height, .051 headgaskets, LS7 lifters and non milled LS6 heads. The 7.45's made power about 100rpms longer than the previous two but i felt that there would be excessive wear so we ran the 7.40's. They made power about 40rpms longer than the 7.35's but had very little noise compared to the .35's.
