+1. Like said, best way to be sure would be to grab a pushrod length checker. LS7 lifters are ~$175, & if I'd done heads, I woulda used em.

7.4 was what most consider stock, or near that. Myself, I was thinkin 7.35" PRs would work. The LS6 heads use a small base circle cam. I thought used a different length valve too, but that may be cause of a small base circle cam. Not sure on when u combine LS6 heads w/. different cam other than LS6 cam. Bottom line - verify.

Also, extra noise, increased action of cam will do that for ya; it did for me. Sounds like a sewing machine, right?!? Took some gettin used to, & it still bugs the **** outta me, but oh well. It's a tradeoff.
