Keep the stock length 7.35 PRs, grab a set of hardened ones for the it of extra insurance, if you're using the same heads, and same length lifters. too long or too short PR's can cause serious valvetrain noise and/or valvetrain/cam lobe/lifter damage.

Is this in a NBS or NNBS? The NBS truck stock pushrod length is 7.4, I thought that the NNBS was the same, but I've been wrong before, more than I like to admit

My 4.8 has 86k and I'm going with a 212/218 .523/.529 114 lsa with ls6 springs and I'm undecided if I should keep stock 7.35 push rods or get comp 7.4's. Thanks. Sorry so many ?'s just trying to buy the right stuff.
Timing Gears is a mater of choice. I have put new ones on with new chains and still had just as much slack as origanl 100,000 mile chains. It would be best to put all new stuff. but some say it is not absolutely needed. I believe you can buy it as a set from cloyes. They make alot of the OEM chains and gears. I got a set from YANK for around 60-70 dollars. SDPC might carry a set to but I wasn't able to find it. Beau@SDPC works at SDPC and has been active on the truck side of this forum. send him a PM and ask him.

I never recomend pushrods with out double checking the clearance/pre-load but hardend ones are deffenitly a good idea.

Usually the shorter Push rod is used because the larger cams have a larger base circle.

7.4 was the stock length.

It is my understanding that the factory pushrods are actually 7.38, and most guys go with 7.4's when doing a cam swap with stock heads that haven't been milled. I'm sure that if you called Comp (yuk), they would recommend 7.4's for you.

Ok wise guy... I have a brand new set of pushrods In the package that I'm going to measure when I get home. Because I bet if you called incompetent COMP you would get false information any way....

I've never gotten mis-information from COMP... Probably has something to do with the fact I've never contacted them either.
