anyone using a ls hot cam in a lq9 6.0, im using ls3 heads and intake off a 2010 camaro.

x2 Theres a lot better cams out there. With those heads you could use a lot more lift also.

 

X3 the ls1 hot cam is not a good choice imo especially for a daily driver, much better choices than it that can make more power. Search on here and you will see info all about this cam it runs rough even with a good tune and makes crappy power.

A Tr220 makes a lot more power than the ls1 hot cam and drives and idles great. You will want a decent tune of course though for any cam.

Depending on what upgraded converter you get and vehicle you have, you can put quite a bit larger cam in it if you wanted. Have you looked into a tsp224r?

 

Old technology with lazy lobes that are hard to tune...pass
