That puts you very close to maxing out those springs with that cam.

I'll let some of the more experienced folks chime in.

Ok I can rule out the valve float... I had another tuner throw a tune in, it runs to the 6k mark just fine, so it’s in the tune..... however this tuner did good but scaling must be off... running really lean afr. But no knock which is crazy.

Anyhow i threw my other pcm in that has my work with efilive in it, trying to figure it out.

I did a log before I pulled the other pcm (locked) it’s showing way more timing than what I’m running. So I looked up a SSR, TBSS, GTO. They all have similar timing as what I logged. So does anyone have a idea if I can mix these tables to make it work right? I’m afraid of some multiplier throwing my numbers really far off.

Ive noticed from the LS1B to the E40 pcm way more tables (another factor of the newer ecms having better controls over timing using different tables than the older stuff.)

any help would be great - we have a few days of rain coming so truck won’t be out...

Burst knock, knock retard recovery?

I’ve always started with an 02 z06 timing table, knock sensor settings and went from there.

Ok I have a fresh brain again this morning... timing is killing it has to be... I have no knock, commanding good fuel- and running -3 degrees of timing right at 5600 and negative-5 by 5745
