Is this with the truck intake or the LS1 intake in your sig?

I'm still thinking TR220, in less a 224 is going to make a lot more power than a 220, and not lose anymore bottom end.

Here in ontario we have to go on the sniffer every two years. Curb idle test, and a 40mph drive test under load on a dyno. The idle test is the worst for big cams, but you can just raise the idle speed for the test.

good luck on figuring it out. i talked to thunder racing twice. the first guy told me the 224/224 on 114lsa would be perfect. the second guy told me they DO NOT recommend that cam in ANY truck. he said my truck is too heavy and would drive like **** until around 3500rpm's. he said i would be killing all my torque which he said ls1s are lacking already.i heard they are some of the best cams for these trucks-but since they can't get their story straight, ive decided theyre full of ****. call vinci-they seem to be on the same page.

The 220 and 224 are good cams. I went 220 because i have a ecsb and i tow from time to time and it's my daily. I know a few guys that have ran the 224 with great success. The cam will come alive around 3400-3500rpms like Thunder said though. Now on not doin it they just need to do some reasearch cause the cam makes great power.
The 220 cam power comes on about 3000-3200 and comes on hard.
The 220 will have a quicker powerband but won't peak as high as the 224.
And of course the 224 will kick in a little later but will peak a tad higher.

opinions are like ********. this guy is an idiot IMO. check out all the trucks with rather large cams in 6.0's hauling major ***. 224 on a 114 is just a moderate cam in the 6.0. you plan a decent size torque converter dont you?
