Default LQ4 build up help.

2005 chevy 2500 HD. Going to be towing with it and would like some good low in torque. Now it makes most power at about 4000 then shifts to next gear at about 5300.

looking at 243 LS2 heads for a little more compression and a LS6 cam. This setup has been recommended but I am open and could use some suggestions especially on the cam.

Any help would be appreciated

i know texasspeed recommends to do their 220r cam kit. i had the same reasoning for more power as you are but on in a 1500. i also have an 03 lq4 with 243s on it with that cam.. just havnt been able to drop in my sierra yet.. the best part of the cam kit is that its only 599.99
